As for your question about Greek channels, if the local cable company does supply the channels here are a couple of options:
Option 1 is to have ERT World. It is located on Telestar 10 76.5 E. It is free to air. You will need a C band dish.

Option 3 I don't know the legal ramifications but you can try to go to torrent web sites and download TV shows and movies.
