Position Title: Hellenic Business Council Administrative Manager
Reports to: HBC Executive members
Location: Dubai, U.A.E.
To provide efficient administration to the HBC administration committee, including time management, administrative duties and first point of interface with the members of the Hellenic Business Council and newcomers to the region.
Display high degree of initiative and discretion in carrying out role as instructed by the Executive Committee.
Develops and implements a comprehensive and innovative marketing, public relations, and promotion program aimed at increasing the awareness, usage of Hellenic Business Council.
Develops and edits content for email notices, news releases, website contents
Representative and active participant in the HBC and its respective sub-committees and members
Occasional weekend or evening hours may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
Act as first point of contact for both internal and external parties.
Screen all requests to ensure those with genuine and important reasons are given priority.
Develop and establish workflow processes.
Maintain records/files of the HBC.
Observe and apply strict levels of confidentiality and discretion to all matters related to the business undertaken by the HBC.
Manage the HBC contact database
Design emails and advertisements
Write up Press Releases
Coordinate and manage events
Increase the number of members to the HBC
Effective Telephone Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & NATIONALITY:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Admin, PR, Marketing & Web to a professional corporate environment.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Proficient in English and Greek (written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Team player but also able to work independently and take own initiatives.
- Friendly and cooperative disposition.
- IT skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
