An International Corporate Communications Firm is looking for a Sponsorship Manager for their office in Muscat, Oman. The Manager will be responsible for building relationships with high-level corporate and government partners and securing funding, primarily through corporate sponsorship sales, and for providing management and growth for current Funding Partners and their programs.
The suitable candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, graduate degree a plus.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, exceptional writing and oral presentation skills.
Four or more years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position, including accomplishment of specific assigned revenue goals.
Experience with fundraising and sponsorship strategy and techniques, budgeting, selling and account management, relationship building, strategic planning, business development, marketing and public relations.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (specifically PowerPoint and Excel) preferred.
Posses a clear “leader” personality, and be able to represent the firm professionally in all forms of communication.
Team player, self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple task and goals, problem-solve and maintain high ethical standards, tact and diplomacy skills.
Strong network in Oman and in depth understanding of the local market.
